With respect to education, it is difficult to find such a climate challenge that would directly influence the implementation of the duties covered by this sector. Instead, the educational sector has a major responsibility for changing the attitudes into ones favouring sustainable ways of life.
Attention should be paid to both mitigation and adaptation challenges
The common interest for climate questions and sustainable ways of life is still likely to increase and should be addressed both in basic and adult education. For the vocational schools, developing those technical industries that are related to sustainability is an investment into the future. Thus, the challenge is posed by adaptation into a sustainable way of life and communicating of it.
