Video: Sea level is about to rise in Southern Finland
Future changes in the sea level on the coast of Finland have been studied by projecting the rising ocean level, changes in the wind conditions in the Danish Straits, and the land uplift in Finland. It is estimated that the sea level is already starting to rise in the Gulf of Finland. In the Gulf of Bothnia, where land uplift is stronger, the sea level decline stabilises by the end of the century.
